This is my first creative writing story I wrote for school. Enjoy!

Situation: You discovered genie in a bottle and you are granted three wishes. What would you ask for?

Dear Seth,
I am writing to you because something very exciting and magical has happened to me! Earlier this week I was walking on the beach. I was on vacation with my family. As I was walking, a looked up and saw an empty green bottle on the shore, near the water. It began to float away with the tide going out to sea again. I ran over and waded into the water to grab it. As I brought it back to shore, I noticed that it was corked and a small piece of paper was inside.
I brought it back to the hotel I was staying in and asked the bartender to uncork it. He opened it and looked at it closely before handing it back to me. To my surprise he told me this was an old Nicaraguan made rum bottle. I thanked him and took it up to my room.
I emptied it out on my floor and out came a wrinkled looking piece of paper and a small key. I read the piece of paper to myself. It told me that the key would unlock a box on the other side of town in an old museum. Inside the box, according to the paper, would be a magical power for the finder to command.
At first I didn't pay this note any attention, until I looked at the key. It had ancient engravings. I looked on the sides of the key and there was some writing in another language that I had never seen before. I realized that this might not be a trick, and even if it was, it would give me something to do that day.
I jumped on my bicycle and headed to the museum. After I paid the admission fee, I began to look around for the box. After a little while I found a box with the same kind of writing that the key had. I asked the assistant if I could have a closer look at the box. He took it out for me, and I asked him if the box had ever been opened. He said it had not. The assistant walked off and I stuck the key in the hole and turned it.
The box clicked open. Inside was a small, metal cylinder big enough to fit a pencil inside. I unscrewed the top and I piece of paper fell into my hand. The paper told me that a genie had been trapped inside this cylinder and could not get out until someone opened him. When they did, he was required to give them three wishes, or he would return to the tube.
As I’m sure you can imagine, I felt a little bit silly talking to a metal tube, but I said in a loud voice, “Come out!” Immediately a green and black mist surrounded me! A loud voice said in my head, “Greetings, my name is Ali Baba. Your wish is my command! I grant you three wishes for releasing me from my prison.  Wish away!”
I was amazed at my good fortune! I made sure that I was not too hasty in wishing. The genie assured me I could have as long as I needed to think about my wishes. The first thing I wished for was a million dollars. Sure enough, I looked into my pocket and there it was, more money than I had seen in my whole entire life!
The next wish I had was to own a six flags site. As you know, I love roller coasters, and I thought this would be great! The genie handed me an ID card that said Mr. Medlin, Six Flags Overseer. Last but not least, I wished for a private airplane. Out the window, I saw a magnificent airplane, big enough to fly twenty people at least!
So you see, Seth, I really wanted to tell you about this the first chance I got. Aren't I just the luckiest guy in the world? I hope you believe me, because I know it’s not easy to believe. And by the way, I’ll be by in an hour to pick you up and fly to six flags, it’s on me!
