Hey guys, this is my second creative writing story to go on my blog. I also stuck some clip art and real pictures from Nicaragua. Enjoy!

Life in Nicaragua is very different than life in other more civilized countries, although it is also very similar to the other countries in Latin America. Nicaragua is a very exciting place to live in. It has a mix of cities and small villages. Nicaragua also has interesting things that people will come from all over the world to see. Nicaragua is very special in its own way.
The food in Nicaragua can be very exotic. Nicaraguans enjoy eating many things wrapped up in a corn tortilla. They also enjoy many foods that are common in other countries. Hot dogs  pizza, and sandwiches are some of these kinds of foods. They can also buy fresh, juicy fruits and very colorful vegetables in the market for very cheap prices. The food in Nicaragua is very tasty and very healthy.
There are many kinds of houses in Nicaragua. People in the villages live in shacks made out of tin and wood scraps. They might also live in huts made of straw and mud. People in the towns and cities live in much nicer houses. With a bedroom all to themselves and a gas stove to cook on, these people are much better off in the way of housing.

Every day life in Nicaragua for a lower income Nicaraguan is very different from some other countries. It is close to most other third world countries though. For example, a Nicaraguan might wake up and go to work without having breakfast. Then they might work all day in the sugar cane plantation which is very difficult manual labor. Then they might receive a full day’s wages of about two dollars. This is about enough money for them to buy dinner and a small snack for the next day.
In Nicaragua they speak Spanish. Some Latin Americans speak very quickly, but most Nicaraguans speak at about normal pace. A few Nicaraguans speak a little English, but only the ones who have been around an English speaking person or have been to college. Nicaraguans are very talkative. They can have a conversation with you even if you have never met them in your life.

So now you have seen a glimpse of what Nicaragua is like. Of course, there are lots of other things besides these few that are listed, but now you understand a few things. In conclusion, Nicaragua is both very unique, and very similar to other countries.
